ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS

Jason Underhill (Co-Creator, Co-Director, Producer) is a filmmaker, writer and artist. He has written and directed two previous web series: The Road to Margaritaville (2012) and Jessie Lives (2008), the latter of which was selected for 2008's Bloomberg New Contemporaries, a nationally touring survey of emerging artists in the UK.

Jason's short films and collaborative projects have screened at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, Hayward Gallery, London, das Weisse Haus, Vienna, Dallas Contemporary Museum of Art, Texas, Royal Academy of Art, London, The Box, Los Angeles, and Columbia University's Studio X, Mumbai, India. He has a BFA in Fine Art from CalArts, an MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, and attended Werner Herzog's Rogue Film School in 2012.

Rena Kosnett (Co-Creator, Co-Director, Producer) is a filmmaker, photographer and writer. Rena's films have been screened at REDCAT and MOCA in Los Angeles as well as in the U.K., Zurich, Switzerland, Puerto Rico, and South Asia. She has exhibited internationally, including in Los Angeles, London, San Juan, and the E.U. Her writing and photography have been published widely, including in LA Weekly, LA Record, Wired, Lo Público, and Misery Connoisseur, among others.

Rena received her BFA and MFA in Photography and Media Arts from the California Institute of the Arts in 2006 and 2010, respectively. She was a 2012 Artist-in-Residence at Beta-Local in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
